Trail Rides - General
Full payment of $250 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This price includes a $75 non-refundable deposit. We understand that plans can change and life is unpredictable. Refunds are offered for the remaining balance on cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled ride. Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, including no-shows, are strictly non-refundable and will result in the forfeiture of the total $250 fee.
If you’re running late, please call or text us as soon as possible. We require all guests to arrive 15 minutes early for safety briefings and mounting. While we’ll do our best to accommodate delays, we must keep to a schedule out of respect for our horses, instructors, and other riders. Riders arriving more than 10 minutes past their scheduled check-in time will be considered a no-show. In these instances, the ride will depart without you, and no refunds or last-minute rescheduling will be issued. Communication is key, and we’re happy to work with you if we know ahead of time.
Riders must be at least 6 years old to participate. For guests under 18, a legal guardian must accompany them. We want to make sure all riders have a safe and fun experience.
Yes. Our weight limit of 250lbs is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of both our horses and our guests. Horses, like people, have limits to what they can comfortably and safely carry based on their size, strength, and conditioning. When a rider exceeds a horse’s safe carrying capacity, it can affect the horse’s balance, posture, and ability to move comfortably, especially on uneven or challenging terrain. This can lead to instability in the saddle, making it more difficult for the rider to stay secure and increasing the risk of falls or injury. To help us match each rider with the right horse and saddle, we ask for height and weight information in our booking forms. This allows us to make informed decisions that prioritize your safety and our horses’ well-being. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us create a responsible and enjoyable riding experience.
No need to worry! We provide and cover the Discover Pass for all our riders, so you can simply focus on enjoying your ride. If you have your own Discover Pass, please make sure to bring it with you and display it in your vehicle when arriving at the trailhead. If you choose to use your own pass but forget it, a $15 fee will be charged at the trailhead to provide you with a day pass. All day passes must be returned to us after the ride.
We strive to make our rides enjoyable and safe for all riders. In accordance with the ADA, we will make reasonable accommodations to support riders with disabilities. However, for safety reasons, riders must be able to mount, dismount, and control their horse independently without physical assistance during the ride. If a disability affects these abilities, we may not be able to accommodate the ride. Our facility is not certified for therapeutic or adaptive riding, but we’re happy to recommend local PATH certified programs that specialize in equine experiences for riders with disabilities. Please contact us with any questions.
Our standard trail rides typically last about 90 minutes. This includes time for a scenic ride, a snack break where you can relax and enjoy some refreshments, and a quick photo session so you can capture the memories.
Yes, we do! While our rides are already kept small for a more personal experience, you can request a fully private ride if you’d like the trail all to yourself or are celebrating something special. Whether it’s a romantic outing, family adventure, or birthday ride, we’re happy to accommodate. Please contact us for pricing and availability!
Due to safety and liability concerns, we do not allow pregnant riders to participate in trail rides. Pregnant riders are at higher risk of injury to themselves and the fetus due to falls or sudden movements. For your safety and the safety of your baby, we appreciate your understanding and invite you to join us in the future.
Our booking form includes a section where you can note any medical conditions or allergies for each rider. While our guides review this information confidentially before the ride, we also recommend mentioning any life-saving medications (like Epi-Pens or inhalers) to your instructor during your safety briefing. We respect your medical privacy and only share this information with the staff members directly responsible for your safety. All emergency medications should be kept in your provided saddle pouch for quick access during the ride.
We want everyone to enjoy their snack pack, so please let us know ahead of time about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences. We’ll do our best to accommodate you with suitable alternative snacks and beverages.
Absolutely! Gift certificates are a fantastic way to share the experience with friends and family for birthdays, holidays, or any special occasion. They’re available year-round and can be purchased online or in person.
